YEOVIL Town last night beat Torquay United in a tense penalty shootout in the Second Round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
Two goals from James Hayter, including one in stoppage time, saw the 90 minutes finish 2-2 and the match went straight to penalties.
Yeovil won 5-4 with Tom Cruise missing the all-important one for the Gulls.
Yeovil will now face Wycombe Wanderers in the Third Round at Huish Park in the first week of December.
