YEOVIL Town striker James Hayter believes the Glovers small squad could have its benefits during the season ahead.
Hayter, who scored his first goals for the club since his summer move to Huish Park in last night's 3-1 success at Brentford, told the BBC: "We've got a small squad, but it is a tight-knit group and that's going to be massive for us all season.
"Even if you find yourself out of the team, you are still part of the squad."
Hayter added: "It is going to take a team effort to do what we want to do this season. We've got a really good togetherness."
Although Hayter admitted he was pleased to get his scoring record off the mark with a brace last night in the match at Griffin Park, he said the three points were more important.
