THE Chard youngsters produced some of their best rugby for a while.
Jack Mills began as the side meant to go on, producing a great run and the first try of the match.
Liam Blackmore got stuck in and pushed forward to drive the team into possession, with Aaron Bellinger taking control of the ball and running through the Wells side to gain the second try!
Harry James showed true grit and determination today to produce some outstanding tackles and play.
With Zach Hiscock pushing forward and then passing a great ball to his brother Ben Hiscock Chard continued with their fantastic defensive play and Wells really didn't stand a chance.
Alex Rowswell gave a powerful presence to his side in the scrums and Charlie Taylor took advantage of a great pass from Harry Paul to deliver the third try of the match!
The second-half saw Chard’s defensive play never faltered and Arthur Wilkinson and Rhys Jurado produced some cracking supportive play presenting Aaron Bellinger with an opportunity to whip the ball away from Wells and score his second try.
The match ended 4-0 to Chard.
Because of the way Chard defended itself today every single player was awarded Player of the week - well done - you all absolutely deserve that recognition!
