AFTER the previous week’s slick performance, Perry Street found it difficult to get their passing game going on a small pitch and against their hard-working hosts.
With the slope and wind in the first-half Perry Street dominated. MacHattie opened the scoring following great play by the lively Sheahan, however the second goal would not come.
Chances came and went and with virtually their only attack of the half, Chinnock broke to score.
Perry Street continued to press after the break with Bond and Woodland both hitting the bar before Sheahan put Street back in front.
Chinnock slowly began to get into the match with Perry Street having to defend in numbers.
Richardson, Holley, Baker, Rawles and Elliott held firm to ensure the points were secured.
Man-of-the-match was Max Patch.
