YET another good battling performance from Raiders.
This was a very physical game and the two goals came from set pieces.
Timmy Pedlar was adjudged to have used more than his shoulder to ease a Lyde forward off the ball.
Lyde scored from the resultant free-kick, then later Owen Richardson was fouled and stood up to intense pressure when he was forced to take the same penalty kick three times!
Will Allen was solid in goal whilst Danny Grabham, Pedlar, man-of-the-match Thomas Rawles and Sam Reynolds played their part well too.
Angelo Moreira, the ever improving Kai Coulstock, Grant Hill, James Courtnell and Fraser Lewis fought hard in midfield in a game where strong challenges were the norm.
Richardson, aided by Bradley Minchinton and Luis Lopes did their best under tremendous defensive pressure and were unlucky not to be granted a second penalty when Lopes was tripped when clean through.
