Youth football teams told not to put safety at risk
OFFICIALS from the Yeovil and District Youth League are advising teams to cancel games if personal safety is at risk because of the weather.
League secretary Monica Hayden said: "In the interest of safety as youth fixture secretary I have decided that teams should look at the safety of the children, playing surfaces and travelling in these icy and treacherous conditions.
"If you are cancelling games please let me know."
