CHARD RFC will appoint members to a host of roles within the club at its annual general meeting (AGM) later this month.
The meeting will be held on Saturday, June 29 at 7pm, with members and supporters encouraged to attend.
Guests will hear from chair Billy Ellens and other committee members including treasurer Andy Hoyne and secretary Bernard Critchley, before club members will answer questions from the floor.
Elections will then take place for the club's 2024/25 officers and team captains.
Roles that will be voted on include: president, chairperson, vice-chairperson, director of rugby, honorary secretary, ladies' secretary, honorary treasurer, fixtures secretary, safeguarding officer, grounds manager and sponsorship manager.
Any remaining vacancies will be advertised on the club website after the AGM.
Captains and managers will be appointed for the men's first and second XVs, the ladies XV and the veterans' XV.
A club spokesperson said: “Should you wish to be considered for any role, or reprise a role you currently hold, or tender your resignation from a role you currently hold please email Bernard Critchley before Saturday, June 22.
“Should more than one person wish to be considered for a position then a vote will take place by the members at the meeting. Should a position be vacant at the close of the meeting it will be advertised on the club website.
“If you would like to get involved with a modern, positive forward thinking club then please come along and show your support. The bar will be open.”
