DESPITE the poor weather once again, there was some quality action in the Perry Street & District Leagues at the weekend.
Starting in the Premier Division, Barrington lost 0-3 at home to Chard United, Cruz Baker, Owen Ford and Jamie Brown scored the goals.
Shepton Beauchamp won their Premier Division match 3-1 over Combe St Nicholas Reserves,
In Division One, Axminster Town Reserves won well away at Donyatt United, that game finished 1-5.
Dowlish Wake & Donyatt lost 0-6 at home to Misterton Reserves while West & Middle Chinnock won 11-1 over Netherbury.
In Division Two Combe St Nicholas Colts won an entertaining match against Shepton Beauchamp Reserves 3-2, and Kingsbury Episcopi won 3-1 at home over Forton Rangers A Team.
Merriott Saints lost 1-2 to Perry Street & Yonder Hill Reserves and finally Yetminster United FC Reserves lost 0-3 to Thorncombe.
In the Challenge Cup latest round, Misterton won 1-0 against Yetminster United FC and South Petherton were awarded a home walkover by Halstock.
