Uhlsport Somerset Division One: Combe St Nicholas 2-2 Castle Cary
COMBE St Nicholas FC Firsts recorded their first draw in the league this campaign on Saturday.
In a match played at home, Combe drew 2-2 with bottom of the table Castle Cary FC.
While a point is good for the struggling Combe, they will feel like a win was on the cards as they were in control of the match.
In fact, Combe went ahead on two occasions, 1-0 and 2-1, but they let the lead slip and Castle Cary made the trip home with a point.
All in all two points lost as Combe were the better side but were unable to capitalise on their chances in front of goal.
The result sees Combe sit in 13th place in the Uhlsport Somerset Division One while Castle Cary stay in bottom place.
Up next for Combe is an away match to Saltford on Saturday, December 2 where the kick off is 2pm.
