36 members of the senior section attended the 3 man Texas scramble on Friday. In favourable conditions, the team of Clive Fisk, Mark Kilpatrick & Mark Sanders with 55 shots beat Ian Frost, Martin Leigh & Roger Withers (56 shots)
Following the golf, the senior section held their AGM where the retiring captain, John Wallace was applauded for his efforts during the year and introduced the incoming captain, Andy Rowland who will take charge for the 2024 season.
In the evening, the seniors held their annual dinner at Hornsbury Mill. This culminated in the donation of a cheque for £7000 to the Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance which was the chosen charity for 2023.
