ON Tuesday The Saints senior match team played Meon Valley in the second round of The Knighton Heath knockout trophy and came away with a 7 - 3 victory
The following day, the senior section played the Challenge Cup Plate competition.
34 members were eligible to compete and in the searing heat, Danny Dowell took the honours with a round of 7 under par,43 points, beating Terry Hackling into second place with 42 points.
The successful finalists in this competition travelled to Chepstow to the St Pierre golf club where 10 contestants played a stableford competition.
One again, the golfers experienced high temperatures and Derek Gardener returned a score of 37 points to win the trophy.
Competition organiser, Mike Light thanked the club for participating and presented the trophy to the winner.
On Friday, 33 members of the senior section entered the 3 man waltz completion.
Pearce, Barry and Andrew took the honours with 83 points, England, Dennett and Hunt finished one point behind and Gingell, Gabb and Jewell came third with 81 points
