THERE was a full turnout of the seniors at Cricket St Thomas Golf Club on Wednesday.
The event was the annual Memorial Trophy to remember all the past seniors who are no longer with us.
The format was a three ball, 2 to count. The winners by 2 points were Martin Leigh; Martin Bargery and Chris Hiam who returned a score of 88 points.
Runners up with 86 points were Roger Stone; John Sweet and Richard Forster. Barry Heath, John Wandless and Derek Gardener finished third on 85 points.
56 members of the senior section took part in the June individual stableford competition on Wednesday.
A round of 6 under par by Chris Gingell was enough to take the honours in Division 1.
Dave Mugridge and Martin Margery both returned cores of 39 points to take second and third places respectively.
Round of the day, however went to Brian Marsh who won Division 2 with a round of 8 under par, beating Ian Frost (41 points) into second spot. Doug Oliver was third with 40 points.
