THE Cricket St Thomas seniors reconvened on Wednesday when 28 players entered the seniors May individual stableford competition.
The golfers enjoyed the benign conditions and some impressive scoring were recorded. In Division 1, Dave Mugridge continued his run of form and returned a score of 3 under par, 39 points.
Mark Cording and Andy Rowlands followed with 36 points each with the former claiming second place with a better back 9.
In similar fashion, Rob Combs won Division 2 with a similar 3 under par round, recording 39 points.
Chris Hiam managed to beat Terry Hackling into second place with 35 points against 34.
On Thursday, some seniors took the opportunity of completing their first round matches in the Seniors 4 ball better ball knockout competition.
Steve Southgate & Gordon Brent were losing to Tim Purrett & John Pearce by 1 hole at the half way stage, but came back to be dormie 2 n the 17th before finally winning by 2 & 1.
