CHARD Rugby Club Ladies have played their last game of the 2023 season and have finished their campaign well.
They had their best game of the season against a physical and impressive Cullompton side.
Although the result didn't go their way, the players can hold their heads high knowing that they played good rugby against excellent opposition.
A spokesperson from the club said: "It was great to see how far they have come this season.
"A fabulous game to finish off a successful season in IWS. Excited to see where next season could take us!"
Up next for the Chard Ladies is to celebrate the season at the end of season Dinner and Dance at the rugby club.
Following that, they will take a break and be back at it later in the year. The club is always welcoming new players so be sure to get in touch with them if you are looking to try rugby.
In other news at the club, they are hosting a Bill Morgan Memorial Game on Friday, April 28.
The match is to remember the memory of Bill Morgan and also bring together teammates of current and of old.
That match will kick off in the evening and will be played at Essex Close.
