ROB Paxton, of Ilminster Bowling Club, faces Mark Dawes in this afternoon's World Indoor Championships singles final, after he saw off wildcard Wayne Willgress yesterday.
The start of the semi-final was a close one, but Paxton held his nerve to take the first set 6-3.
And he sealed his place in the final with some excellent draws to win the second set 11-4.
Paxton, the sixth seed, faces 12th-ranked Dawes from 2pm today, with live coverage via BBC Sport on TV and online.
