ILMINSTER Bowling Club's Rob Paxton has made it through to the semi-finals of the World Indoor singles, after a hard-fought win over Merv King from Norfolk.
As in Paxton's previous match, the quarter-final featured a very tight first set which finished as a tie (5-5).
The second set was also a nip-and-tuck affair, but some outstanding bowls from Paxton won it 6-4.
That set up a last-four clash with wildcard Wayne Willgress this afternoon, with the match being shown from 2.30pm on BBC Two and online.
