ILMINSTER Bowling Club's Rob Paxton faces a quarter-final against Merv King at the World Indoor Championships tonight.
Paxton, the sixth seed, had a tough match against world number 11 Les Gillett yesterday, with the first set being halved at 8-8.
But the second went Paxton's way, the Somerset man taking it 9-5 to advance.
He now faces King, from Norfolk, with the winner claiming a spot in the singles semi-finals.
The match is set to start at 7.30pm tonight, with live coverage on YouTube.
Ilminster Bowling Club will also be showing the match, on the big screen in the bar.
