WINNER: Norton Selwood from Wellington took the overall Summer Cup Car Trial title in his Hillman Imp.
WINDWHISTLE Motor Club from Chard held its annual Summer Cup Car Trial at Boshill, East Devon, with members from around the region taking part.
The challenge was to negotiate a series of pegged-out, tight twisting routes on hills and slopes, and the competitor who completes the challenges while hitting the fewest pegs wins.
This year’s overall winner was Norton Selwood from Wellington, in his Hillman Imp.
The front wheel drive winner was Katy Hobbs from Winsham, the rear wheel drive winner was David Robinson (Martock), and the best ladies award went to Nettie Vile (Taunton).
