YEOVIL Town were beaten 5-0 by visiting Swansea City in a pre-season friendly at Huish Park.

The Premier League visitors broke the deadlock midway through the first period when top striker Michu punished the Yeovil defence.

Swansea stepped up a couple of gears during the second period to run out comfortable winners.

Yeovil had their chances to have got on the scoresheet, but could not force a way past the Swansea rearguard.

The Glovers are back in pre-season action tomorrow (Tuesday) evening at Huish Park when Exeter City are the visitors in a 7.45pm kick-off.
