A TOTAL of 16 major roadworks are being started in Somerset today (Monday, August 15).
The schemes are as follows:
- Forton Road, Chard, various works, lasting 39 working days.
- Old Taunton Road, Bridgwater, install lighting, 14 days.
- Nethercott Lane, Lydeard St Lawrence, drainage works, 14 days.
- Haygrove Lane, Wandstrow, water main installation, 14 days.
- Chelston Interchange, West Buckland, survey work, 14 days.
- Brindham Lane, Wick, sewer connection, 14 days.
- Wetmoor Lane, Muchelney Ham, vegetation clearance, 10 days.
- Combwich Lane, Cannington, vegetation clearance, 10 days.
- Top Road, Curry Mallet, traffic management, 10 days.
- Bath Road, Ashcott, various works, five days.
- Bath Road, Bawdrip, various works, five days.
- Chilton Polden Hill, Chilton Polden, various works, five days.
- Langport Road, North Curry, resurfacing, five days.
- Upper Holway Road, Taunton, resurfacing, five days.
- The Causeway, Mark, sewer connection, four days.
- Stawell Road, Stawell, surface dressing, two days.
