AVON and Somerset Police have published these images of dodgy car registration plates spotted on vehicles in the force area.
Can you spot what's wrong with each one?
In the first image, the 1 and the 8 are squashed together, giving an Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) fail.
The second picture shows why police suspicions were aroused - it's an English car with German plates.
The following plate is "completely butchered" according to Avon and Somerset Roads Policing Unit - the 1 and the 2 are squashed to form an R and the J is elongated to form a U.
And finally there's another example of an R formed with a 1 and a 2.
A roads policing team spokesperson said: "These are just some of the dodgy plates we see out and about.
"All of these drivers were reported to the DVLA and face withdrawal of the plate if they fail to heed warnings."
"Plate offences could soon be endorsable."
