EIGHT lock-up garages and an additional parking space in Yeovil have been snapped up at auction for £58,500.

The site next to 40 Alexandra Road was among the lots in the fifth auction of 2022 by the regional land and property auctioneers Clive Emson.

Senior auction appraiser Audrey Smith said: “There was keen interest from investors before this property sold in the upper to mid-range of its guide.

“Six of the garages are let, two remain vacant and there is an additional parking space within the site, which leaves the new owner with potential to increase their income.

“Lock-up garages in an unbroken block already delivering return remain in demand from investors seeking to start or diversify their portfolio.”
