A MAN with a "flagrant disregard" for the law has been jailed after committing the same offence four times on the same day.
Adam Brown 43, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty at Taunton Magistrates' Court to four counts of using threatening, abusive or insulting words of behaviour causing harassment, alarm or distress to his victims.
He was jailed for 14 days on each charge, with the sentences to run concurrently.
Brown was also ordered to pay a £154 victim surcharge.
Three of the offences were committed in Yeovil, while the fourth, which involved a police officer, took place in Taunton.
Magistrates told him he was being jailed for the offences last Thursday (June 16) because of his "flagrant disregard for court orders".
