A TOTAL of 11 people who had Covid have died in the four Somerset districts over the past week.
Of those, two died yesterday (Saturday, February 12) within 28 days of testing positive for the virus.
Yesterday's deaths were recorded in Sedgemoor and Mendip.
Somerset West and Taunton saw five deaths of people who had tested positive for Covid in the week from Sunday, February 6, to yesterday (Saturday) - a drop of 66.7 per cent on the previous week.
There were two deaths each in the same period in Sedgemoor, South Somerset and Mendip, down 66.7 per cent, 77.8 per cent and 33.3 per cent respectively.
