ILMINSTER Arts Centre (IAC) will present The Frog Lane Painters Exhibition, showcasing the incredible talent of a longstanding group of amateur artists.
This special exhibition, celebrating creativity in the area, will be running from October 15 to November 9.
The exhibition aims to highlight the journey and growth of each of the featured artists, many of whom started as complete beginners at IAC’s popular acrylic painting classes.
The Frog Lane Painters, tutored by the highly regarded Juliet Farnese, were formed through the IAC’s Acrylic Class.
Over the years, the group has flourished, with members honing their skills through dedicated practice and guidance.
This exhibition is not only a testament to the artistic development of the group but also to the essential role Ilminster Arts Centre plays in fostering creativity and offering opportunities for learning within the community.
Visitors of the exhibition will have a chance to meet the artists themselves on Wednesday, October 16, from 2.00pm to 3.00pm, where they can learn more about their work, inspiration, and creative process.
The exhibition will be open daily, with the final day, November 9, closing at 1.00pm.
Exhibition Dates: October 15 – November 9 2024
Meet the Artists: October 16, 2.00pm – 3.00pm
