Owner of The Bell at Broadway Rob Doak is stepping down as owner after seven years at the helm on Monday.
The final day will be Monday September 23, Rob says until then 'it’s business as usual.' A final party will take place with live music and Happy Hour on Sunday 22nd from 5pm until late.
Rob and his family would like to thank all the customers, staff and everyone who has supported him over the last seven years with him at the helm.
The pub has been bought by St Austell, who will take ownership of The Bell at Broadway on Tuesday 24th September. Mr Doak adds: "We hope you will all join us to welcome the new Landlord and show them the same support you have shown us."

Robert Doak and his family posted on Facebook on Wednesday, he said: "You will know by now that we have sold The Bell at Broadway. This has been hard decision, but after almost seven years, it is the right decision for the business and for our family.
"During our time as custodians of The Bell, the oldest, friendliest pub in the area, we have built a fantastic and loyal customer base and made new friendships we will cherish.
"Pubs are at the centre of British communities and we must give them our full support so we do not lose them. We have worked hard to give the people of Broadway and surrounding areas a home from home. Our ethos has always been that everyone is welcome at The Bell – something I hope will be carried forward.
"We would like to sincerely thank everyone who has made The Bell a success. To our hard-working staff who have gone above and beyond their duty to ensure that everyone who has passed through our door has been warmly welcomed and had a memorable experience.
"To our lovely customers – we have had such fun not only serving you but getting to know you all and we hope to see you all for a drink soon – this time on your side of the bar."
