AN Ilminster florist is offering a cake delivery service in aid of a cancer charity.
Angie Blackwell from Cottage Flowers will provide this service to local businesses in return for donations.
The initiative supports Ilminster's Macmillan Cancer Support World's Biggest Morning, part of the annual coffee morning fundraising event.
A coffee morning will be held at Cottage Flowers on September 9 from 9.30am until noon.
It will feature stalls with cakes, plants, jams, and chutneys, as well as a raffle.
Last year's coffee morning raised £5,250 for the charity.
Discussing the coffee morning initiative, a Macmillan spokesperson described it as the charity's "biggest fundraising event" and said: "Each year, Coffee Morning brings people from across the UK together to share delicious food and drink and to raise money to support people living with cancer."
To be included in the cake delivery round, businesses should contact Cottage Flowers at 01460 53020.
