The joint managers of the Ilminster Town Reserves team will continue in their roles this season, the club has announced.
Mark Stoodley and Darryl Sunnick stepped into the role towards the end of last season alongside their roles as managers of the U17s girls side, where they led them to a league and cup double.
In announcement was made on social media. The club said: “Having managed the young side right through the youth years, they were perfectly placed to help players with the transition into adult football.
“With the reserves team now bolstered by lots of young players, as well as established older players who have seasons of experience, this season looks to be a promising year for the team.”
On Wednesday (July 17) the first team were in pre-season action at home to Sherborne Town Reserves and secured a 2-0 victory thanks to goals from Kieran Manley and Jack Steer.
