Ilminster Arts Centre announces exciting new initiatives

The centre has introduced Early Bird Tickets for selected concerts starting in August and extended opening hours throughout June.

Early Bird Tickets will be available for selected concerts starting in August. If tickets are purchased more than eight weeks before an event, buyers will receive a £2 discount on the ticket price. 

Events included in this Early Bird promotion are; The Dreamettes on Friday August 2. Standard Tickets: £25. Early Bird Tickets: £23. Students: £5. Children 12 and under: Free

La Vie en Rose on Friday August 16. Standard Tickets: £20. Early Bird Tickets: £18. Students: £5. Children 12 and under: Free

Ilminster Arts Centre will also be trialing extended opening hours throughout June which will give visitors more time to explore the shop and enjoy Annie's Cakery Bakery.

The Arts Centre Opening Hours will be Tuesday - Saturday: 9.30am - 3.30pm, Café Opening Hours: 9.30am - 3.30pm, Lunches served until 2.30pm, Last orders for drinks and cakes by 3.15pm.

A spokesman for Ilminster Arts Centre said: "Whether you're looking to browse unique artworks and crafts, enjoy a leisurely lunch, or simply relax with a cup of coffee and a delicious cake, the extended hours provide the perfect opportunity to visit us at your convenience."

Another event launching soon is the Candle Painting and Cream Tea in a collaboration with Annie’s Cakery Bakery and The Crafty Cocktail Club,

A spokesman added: "We are combining two of the things our visitors love about the Arts Centre – the cream teas and the art workshops! If you’re looking to treat yourself or something different to do with friends, why not spend an afternoon painting candles whilst enjoying a cream tea and bottomless prosecco.
