RESIDENTS in Ilminster are being warned of a collapsed manhole in the town centre.
The town council said they were made aware of the collapsed manhole cover on East Street and have contacted Somerset Council.
Cones have been placed around the hole, the local authority also said.
A spokesperson for Ilminster Town Council said: “We have been made aware of a collapsed manhole cover at the top of East Street at the Bay Hill junction.
“Please take extra care when walking along this path. We have placed cones around the hole and Somerset Council has been informed.”
