ILMINSTER Town Ladies Football Club are currently on the search for people to fill five roles off the pitch.
The club is looking to recruit an assistant manager, a head of player development, goalkeeper coach, physio/sports therapist and finally a media team member.
The assistant manager role will report to the first team manager and is responsible for improving and maintaining first team development.
The purpose of the role is to oversee the development of the first team alongside the manager and help design and deliver sessions working with coaches to discuss any individual player needs.
It will basically provide another link between team sessions and development sessions.
The head of player development and they will report to the first team manager and they will be responsible for individual player development.
The purpose of the role is to work with the management team to decide on individual player development areas and design sessions to meet individual and team needs.
This person will also work one-on-one or within team sessions alongside the fitness coach to carry out the player development.
The head goalkeeper coach role will also report to the manager as well as the head of girls and ladies football.
This person will be responsible for the development of the role of the goalkeeper at the club.
They will need to work with the club keepers to develop individual skills, and develop the role of the goalkeeper within the team.
Taking individual and group keeper sessions and working alongside the keeper in team sessions will be required as well.
They will also need to work with the first team squad on a matchday with the emphasis on the role of the keeper with in the game environment. Training is on Tuesday's and Thursday's.
The physio and sports therapist will be responsible for player fitness and rehabilitation and will work alongside the coaching team to monitor player fitness and recovery.
They will work with players who may have injuries and will help them on their return to fitness as well as providing assessments over bigger potential issues in place and providing advice for the players.
Finally, the media team member will report to the head of girls and Ladies football and will be responsible for promoting the ladies teams through social media.
They will need to create social media content that will include match-day updates, post-match interviews and summaries as well as helping with videoing as well.
