A TRIO of international musicians will soon play in Ilminster and Crewkerne.
The Northern Chords Ensemble was formed through collaboration at the acclaimed Northern Chords Festival, founded in 2009 by artistic director Jonathan Bloxham.
It brings together some of the most exciting young musicians from across Europe performing some of the best-loved works from the chamber repertoire.
Violinist Benjamin Baker, cellist Jonathan Bloxham and pianist Daniel Lebhardt enjoy stellar careers individually, have been recipients of many prestigious awards, and perform regularly as soloists and chamber musicians worldwide, from the Wigmore Hall and the Southbank Centre to the Philharmonie in Berlin and the Kennedy Centre in Washington.
Northern Chords is delighted to be partnered with the London Chamber Music Society and the Northern Chords Ensemble performed for their series at King’s Place in March 2022.
The trio will be in Ilminster on Friday, May 5 at the Ilminster Arts Centre at 7.30pm.
They will also play in Crewkerne on Saturday, May 6 at The Dance House at 7.30pm.
