THE display of an Easter demonstration at an Ilminster florist raised £300 for a good cause.
Spring is definitely in the air at Cottage Flowers, Jordans Courtyard, near Ilminster where an Easter floral demonstration was held by Angie Blackwell.
Angie, assisted by Caitlin Anning –Pile and Tracey Rowbottom, provided a masterclass of floral ingenuity.
Over 60 people were treated to a professional display of the intricacies of different designs in shape, colour, and seasonal association, which covered hand-tied bouquets and table centre pieces to magnificent large-scale and unusual sculpted arrangements, door decorations, and an Easter rabbit.
The event raised £300 for the Ilminster Midsummer Experience (IMEX).
Angie said: “I am delighted with the wonderful support we have received, which will benefit the number of events organised by IMEX that are enjoyed by, not only those living in Ilminster but also the surrounding district.”
