A SPA in Ilminster has won the Best Boutique of the Year award at the Professional Beauty Awards.
Transformations Hair, Beauty & Aesthetics picked up the award on Sunday, March 5 at The Brewery in London, a Grade II-listed venue.
The awards recognise the best businesses and individuals in the beauty and spa industry.
The excellence awards event was attended by Transformations' directors, Kerry Hole-Stuart and John Stuart, alongside assistant manager Danielle Holt.
Kerry, who is a salon industry business mentor, said: "Small businesses within the salon industry are closing daily and it's the wins like this that make the daily struggles of business worth it."
Stuart said: "To return to Somerset with the highest accolade in the industry makes the hard work pay off.
"The recovery of the pandemic and now the consent pressures of the cost-of-living crisis has meant my team and I have had to dramatically change our strategy to continue our success after a large expansion in 2021.
"I am hugely proud of the team at Transformations and the work they produce. We would like to thank our loyal clients old and new for their continued support."
Therapists all attended a live final in London for a live trade test and interview with judges. The awards were presented following a champagne reception and gala dinner.
Introducing the awards on the night, Eve Oxberry, editor of Professional Beauty magazine, said: “These awards are all about raising standards in the beauty and wellness industry and celebrating the businesses and individuals that display outstanding professionalism and embody the luxury and care that are synonymous with spa and beauty.”
