Ilminster Town were denied the opportunity to play against bottom of the League Stockwood Green on Saturday as the struggling visitors could not raise a side, only two weeks earlier Stockwood played Chard away with a weakened team losing 9-1.
Since Covid struck some teams have found it hard to generate the enthusiasm shown before the Pandemic with even teams in the Toolstation Western League not fulfilling fixtures on two occasions this year.
Ilminster now sit in the bottom three but have five matches in hand on Keynsham Town who are one place and one point ahead.
The Somerset County Premier Division apart from the top five sees eight of the sixteen teams only separated by six points, Chard Town have moved up to 7th place now with 14 points three more than the Blues who have five matches in hand on their local rivals.
Next week Ilminster are away at Watchet Town the match kicks off at 2.00pm .
