FIREFIGHTERS cut free a man trapped in a vehicle following a road traffic collision.
Fire crews and paramedics were sent to the incident at Tintinhull at 4.21pm yesterday (Sunday, July 10).
A fire engine from Martock and two from Yeovil, along with the rescue tender, attended.
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "They were mobilised to a road traffic collision at Tintinhull near Yeovil where a male was trapped.
"The male suffering neck pain was being assessed by ambulance crews when fire crews arrived.
"Crews used two sets of cutting gear and a reciprocating saw along with small tools.
"The casualty was taken to hospital in the care of paramedics."
