ST Margaret’s Ilminster shop has officially moved location from it's well known Silver Street shop.
For the last 29 years St Margaret’s Ilminster shop could be found in Silver Street and has been a firm favourite with customers during this time.
However customers old and new will now find the shop in a bigger and more accessible location just down the road at the junction of Ditton Street, East Street and Silver Street.
The new shop officially opened on Tuesday, June 28 and was straight back into selling clothes, books, and bric-a-brac, as well as new and donated furniture, providing even more affordable options for the community.
Unlike the old shop, the new space is spread across one floor meaning it is now fully accessible to all including those with reduced mobility.
Julia Jackson, shop manager at the Ilminster shop, said: “We are very pleased to have all this space but still be in the heart of the town and the community. Our volunteers, customers and donors are very much who make our shop successful. We look forward to welcoming them all.
"So, if you’re looking for a bargain, from clothing to furniture pop into the shop."
