A BUSINESS in Ilminster is offering complementary foot checks as part of Foot Health Week 2022.

Foot Health Week is an event hosted by the Royal College of Podiatry to raise awareness of foot health matters and the role that podiatrists play in looking after foot health.

During the week, which runs between April 25 and May 1, Soleus Podiatry in Ilminster will be offering free foot checks.

A spokesperson for Soleus Podiatry said: "All too often foot problems are ignored until they get unbearable. People sometimes attempt some treatment on themselves with bad outcomes, but many will attend a GP appointment.

"We aim to encourage the public to seek first the advice of the profession that knows feet the best, much like one would see an optician for an eye problem or a dentist for a tooth problem."
