POLICE drew a blank when they stopped this vehicle on the A303.
Police in Gloucester believed the van had been involved in burglaries there.
Officers in South Somerset assisted with stopping the vehicle on the A303.
Nothing illegal was discovered during a search.
The driver was then permitted to continue their journey, although police say they are continuing their enquiries.
An Avon and Somerset Roads Policing Unit spokesperson said on Twitter: "Crossbordercrime... this vehicle believed involved in burglaries in Gloucester.
"Stopped A303 with help from @ASPSouthSom.
"Negative search but occupant details noted and enquiries continue!
"Out there, after them."
