A NEW clinic opened its doors this week and invited residents to learn more about the business.
Soleus Podiatry, in Ilminster, held an open day for visitors on Monday (February 7).
The business was started by Janey Tarrant, who has been practicing podiatry in Ilminster since 2006.
Their new purpose-built clinic is on Canal Way, and now includes thee reception staff and three podiatrists.
Janey's speciality is ingrowing toenails and verrucae; Katherine specialises in diabetes and wound care, and Abbie is a biomechanics podiatrist, which means she studies how people walk and their related foot pain.
You will also find the work of local artists, Delia Burridge (Delia Rose Illustrations) and Sandi Mower (Gekko Art), in the clinic.
Janey added: "Our mission is that patients will feel empowered to live their best lives, not hampered by foot pain."
The clinic is open from 8.30am until 5pm from Monday to Friday.
