MEMBERS of the public have responded to a police appeal for help following a burglary.
Officers in the South Somerset Neighbourhood Policing team are investigating the incident in Broadway.
They have expressed their gratitude to people who submitted images of a man they wish to speak to.
The team are appealing for anyone who saw a person delivering charity bags in Broadway on Thursday (July 8) between 9am and 10.30am.
The person they are interested in speaking to is a man aged 10 to 20, with jet black hair, and of short height.
He was wearing a thick coat, possibly coloured red and white with a name-tag or ID lanyard and was also carrying a large backpack.
A police spokesperson said: "If you did see this male or have any CCTV containing him or a white van that was possibly around at the same time also delivering charity bags then please contact us on 101.
