THE Mayor of Crewkerne said she is “delighted to be able to continue” after being re-elected.
Crewkerne Town Council said they were “pleased” to announce Cllr Alice Samuel will continue in her role.
A spokesperson for the council said: “Crewkerne Town Council are pleased to announce that Alice Samuel will be remaining as Mayor of Crewkerne.
“Mayor Cllr Samuel said: ‘I've had a wonderful time representing Crewkerne over the last year and I am delighted to be able to continue.’”
Councillor Kathy Head, previously Mayor for five years, said she is pleased to continue to support Mayor Cllr Samuel in her role as Deputy Mayor.
