CREWKERNE Methodist Church will be the venue for an exciting evening of music for piano and organ performed by Jonathan Delbridge on Friday, August 4.
The event will include Bach’s famous Toccata and Fugue in D minor and Elgar’s much-loved Nimrod.
Jonathan Delbridge began learning the piano at the age of just four.
He is now well known for his varied and interesting concert programmes and performs at venues throughout the UK, from the Royal Albert Hall and Birmingham Symphony Hall to his own village church.
As well as including famous works in his concert programmes, Jonathan aims to introduce some “buried musical treasures”.
And in his concert at Crewkerne Methodist Church, pieces by well known composers such as Bach, Elgar and Mozart will feature alongside some beautiful, but rarely performed music by York Bowen and George Pinto.
Jonathan will also seek to show off the full range of colours available from the church’s organ.
Tickets for the concert, which will start at 7.30pm, are £10 from www.jonathandelbridge.com/product-category/concert-tickets/ and more information is available by contacting info@jonathandelbridge.com or visiting jonathandelbridge.com
