POLICE were called to Crewkerne railway station this morning after “concerns for the welfare of a woman”.
The incident took place at around 11.21am and both British Transport Police (BTP) and Avon and Somerset Police were on the scene.
Both forces confirmed “the woman was taken to a place of safety”.
A BTP spokesperson said: “We were called to Crewkerne station at 11.21am today (3 March) following concerns for the welfare of a woman.
“Avon and Somerset Police attended and the woman was taken to a place of safety.”
