TRACTOR enthusiasts enjoyed a New Year's Day Tractor Run - and managed to raise more than £1,500 for charity.
Somerset Tractor Runners organised the event at Thorney Lakes in Muchelney, near Langport, to raise funds for Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.
The event raised a total of £1,568.22, and more than 75 tractors took part.
The route started in Muchelney at 11am and headed to South Petherton, through Lopen, Dinnington, Crewkerne and to Haselbury.
The second half of the journey took the tractors through West Chinnock, Chiselborough, Ham Hill, Stoke-sub-Hamdon, Martock and then back to Thorney Lakes around 3pm.
A spokesperson for Somerset Tractor Runners said: "A big thank you to every tractor driver who made the effort to come out and support as well as to North Down Orchard in Haselbury who provided the refreshments, and to everybody else involved behind the scenes or supported throughout the day coming out to watch and wave.
"A further thanks to the various photographers who came out to capture the event and all photos and media can be found on Facebook by searching for Somerset Tractor Runners.
"All future events and road runs will be published on there as well so stay tuned for the next one, where plans are already underway."
