STATION road, Ilminster, located near the Shrubbery hotel and the Warehouse Theatre is closed until Monday, November 18 due to essential works taking place.
Station Road is the main road leading into Ilminster town centre and has been closed since yesterday night (Friday, November 15 from 7pm) due to a Vodafone Fibrewave LTD installation and will not open until Monday, November 18 during the morning at 6am.

Many feel inconvenienced by this sudden closure and have even been seen attempting to manoeuvre around the road closure signs to get to Ilminster town centre.
However, the works are essential to rectify a defective chamber and allow for Fibrewave installation on behalf of Vodafone.
The closure will be in force for 24 hours per day until Monday.
The Somerset Council said: "We are sorry for any inconvenience caused."
