CHARD Community Hub has shared its recent "spooky success" with hundreds of children attending the Hubble Bubble Halloween event to make their own magical potions.
Tessa Goodridge-Reynolds, Events Director said: "It was wonderful to meet so many families and see everyone’s amazing costumes.
"The children had a blast making their spooky bubble potions, and we were truly impressed by all their creativity."
The Chard Community Hub would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the community members who kindly donated jars and craft materials, making this event possible in the first place.
Tessa added: “A special thank you goes to Chard Museum for letting us borrow their cauldron and to Chard Auctions for lending us their bubble machines.
“We also want to thank the members of our Tuesday Arts and Crafts Group for creating the fantastic decorations that added to the festive atmosphere. Events like this aren’t possible without the support of our kind and generous community.”
Their next Chard community event is Festive Fun, taking place on Friday, December 13, from 4pm to 7pm at the Hub on Boden Street.
At the Festive Fun event you can expect plenty festive refreshments, carol singing, and a Santa's grotto. This will be a free event, and everyone is welcome.
