THIS Halloween, Ferne Animal Sanctuary is hosting an “exciting day of spooky, family-friendly activities that promise thrills, chills, and cauldrons of fun” —all while supporting animals in need.
On October 31, from 10am to 4pm, families can join Ferne Animal Sanctuary for a Halloween celebration with reduced entry fees of £5 per adult and £1 per child.
There are many workshops and events being held throughout the day, including:
- Fancy Dress Competition – Come dressed to impress, but make sure it’s spooky and matches the theme.
- Pumpkin Pong and Trick-or-Treat Game – Spooky games for all ages to enjoy.
- Craft Pumpkin Patch – Get creative in the arts and crafts zone and design your own pumpkin.
- Ghoulishly Guided Tours – Join a guide to meet all the animal residents in a new Halloween themed light.
During this October half-term there are also plenty of spooky seasonal arts and crafts activities to take part in too, including:
- Cardboard tube bats & spiders.
- Popsicle stick bats
- Pom pom bats
- Pumpkin collage faces
A spokesperson for Ferne Animal Sanctuary said: "We look forward to seeing everyone at our Halloween event and taking part in the spooky arts and crafts workshops - perfect for all the little ghouls and goblins."
