HOLYROOD Academy in Chard opened its doors to prospective students and families this week, welcoming the community to a "fantastic Open Evening event".
Attendees had the opportunity to explore the school’s facilities, meet dedicated staff, and learn more about the diverse academic programs offered.
The event was described as "a tremendous success", with students, staff, and community members coming together to create "a warm and engaging atmosphere".
Visitors were able to experience first-hand the typical environment that students can expect at Holyrood Academy.
Dave McCormick, head master, expressed gratitude to everyone involved, and said: "Thank you to our amazing students, staff, and local community for their hard work and support. It was wonderful to see so many new faces eager to learn about what makes Holyrood Academy special."
For those who couldn’t attend or want to see more, the school is offering future open mornings on Tuesday, October 15, and Thursday, October 17, between 9am and 11.00am.
These mornings provide another opportunity to see Holyrood Academy in action during a regular school day.
A spokesperson for Holyrood said: "Come and join us and see what makes Holyrood Academy a place of excellence."
