DA Fuchaman and his Fireblaze Band will hit Chard tomorrow at a reggae night at Holyrood Academy.
They will perform at Tropical Jamminz Reggae Night Vibes on Saturday, September 28. Gates will open at 6pm until late.
Reggae Night Vibez is a live band event that aims to spread love and unity and promote social and cultural awareness and mental health through authentic reggae music played by a talented ten-piece Jamaican reggae band.
Hot off their summer tour of festivals across the UK and Europe, including headlining at Bournemouth Reggae Weekender and the Bristol Harbour Festival, Da Fuchaman and his Fireblaze Band will be bringing some spice and seasoning to Somerset with their much-anticipated gig in Chard. They will also be joined on stage by special guest performer Bev Gee - who got through to the Semi-Finals of Britain's Got Reggae in 2019.
Zemroy Thomas, better known by his stage name Da Fuchaman, is a Jamaican reggae singer, songwriter, and member of the Rastafari movement. He is known for his high-energy performances throughout the UK and Europe and prides himself for spreading love and positive vibrations everywhere he goes.
Da Fuchaman has amassed eight studio albums, as many Eps and multiple singles collaborating with some well-renowned artists such as Anthony B, Turbulence The Future, Lutan Fyah, and Queen Omega to name a few, with his latest album 'Mama Cislyn' released in 2023. The lead single from the album "Welcome", featuring General Levy is currently still playing on mainstream radios across the UK and many other local radio stations.
In 2016 he formed his live band now known as "Da Fuchaman and his Fire Blaze Band". This has taken him to new heights in his music career and since then he and his talented ten-piece collective have been taking the UK festival scene by storm.
Organiser Paul Ennis said: "If you are a sucker for good music, love and positive vibrations, whether you are a reggae fan or not, then you don't need to look much further than Da Fuchaman and his Fire Blaze Band."
At the event you will also be able to purchase drinks, local food and Caribbean cuisine which will be available throughout the night; including jerk chicken, jerk pork, curry goat, rice and peas and plantains.
Raffle tickets will be also on sale on the evening and all raffle proceeds will going to the Love Musgrove charity.
